They look just like the ad, in a nice lightweight rayon. He black is true black. The drawstring and stretchy waistband are functional and the pockets deep enough to be useful. They are very comfortable, and very wide legged. I am 6 ft tall, so I ordered the "tall" and they are long enough if I wear them as hip huggers, but too short to wear them at my waist to hide my covid-related love handles. Still, I will keep them for lounging as they are nearly perfect.
I absolutely love the Lauren pants! I have ordered it in 4 colors - green, burgundy, silver, and black. They are super comfortable, fit well, and the size chart was accurate. The elastic waist is easy to wear all day but without any sagging, and the pant legs are so soft and flowing. I thought the fabric would be high maintenance, but have cycled them through the laundry several times without any issues. I machine wash in cold water on the delicate cycle, tumble for 15 minutes on air only (no heat), then hang to finish drying, and they dry ready to wear with no wrinkles. I am 5'5" with a 29" inseam. The regular length falls right at my ankle bone.
I love these pants SO MUCH. I have sever swelling in one leg from lymphedema, and these pants are so nice to wear without the discomfort of being tight around one leg, and being painfully obvious that one of my legs is so much larger than the other.
Nice lightweight soft flowing pant. Little big in the waist but comes with a drawstring so it can be tightened. Easy to care for, can wrinkle a little easily after washing.
