It took me a really long time to pick which dress and color to purchase for Ren Faire but I’m very pleased with the one I chose. The fabric is opaque but thin enough to breathe and not be too hot. The only things I would add are pockets and a zipper because it was a little tight to get over the shoulders.
This is a really beautiful dress. I had it custom made in black and I love it! The sleeves are beautiful with the gathering above the elbow and not too tight, which I was worried about. The embroidery is exquisite without being too fussy. May order another in a different color!
I love this dress. This is the third dress I've bought and I love them all. Kalila Is my go to winter dress!
I have two of these dresses one in green and one in black. I get so many compliments whenever I wear them. The green is my every day/Sunday dress. My black ended up as a Halloween which dress (my other black dress wasn't comfortable). I have even worn the two dresses in summer! I live in Phoenix, AZ. Summertime temperatures can easily reach over 105F. I was able to stay comfortable. I’m sorry to see it retired.
